I've decided to unpublish all my old blog content from a year ago. It wasn't oversharing per se, anybody that knows me knows that I'm pretty open with the details of my life, good or bad. I don't know. A year ago I was just getting back into writing and hadn't found my pace. I feel comfortable writing now—like I've hit my stride. I think part of that was just writing thousands upon thousands of words for my business blog. Over on panamasound.com I call blog posts "Articles," sounds more official.

You may've noticed the domain name change too, from ltbyrne.com to lbyrne.me. I think lbyrne.me is more sleek and optimized for what I'm using the website for—a personal blog.

I've moved everything off of ghost.io to hostinger. Now I just have to migrate some of the domains from namecheap to hostinger. I got locked out of my bank account earlier this year because ghost.io is based in the Philippenes, and the automatic payment was flagged as suspicious activity. Anyway, it was expensive, about a hundred per year per site.

I was considering hosting via Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—their e2-micro instances come with 30GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and are completely FREE. It's a full Linux environment which is infinitely flexible. But I reconsidered because I'd be completely responsible for every last detail of the system-administration. I actually enjoy sysadmin, but it does take up a lot of time. Time that I'd be splitting with a business that is supposed to be making money. Anyway, I chose to host with hostinger. They do have SSH access, and a limited VPS. So yeah, I'm consolidated with hostinger now. That's a lot of nerdy details.
